Can you make a tailgate or cage system to any size?

We manufacture each tailgate and dog cage system to order at our workshop in Barsham, Suffolk. This means that we have the flexibility to create products to the size and style which fits your car and specific requirements.

 

Once I place my order how long will it take for you to complete the project?

Generally we are able to complete projects from the first meeting and measure up to fitting with 4-6 weeks.

 

What type of lock fitting do you use?

We install as standard galvanised (sliding and lockable) pad locks. However, we also install compression locks upon request in either a black or chrome finish.

 

What colour can I have my cage system or tailgate finished in?

Customers have the choice of either galvanising or powder coating. Galvanising is a hard wearing silver finish. Powder coating allows a choice of lots of different colour options.

 

What is powder coating?

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form.

 

What materials are used to build the cage systems?

We pride ourselves on manufacturing products that are fit for purpose and hard wearing. Therefore we tend to use 20mm steel box and 2”X2” 10g mesh. 

 

How long will it take to fit my dog guard or cage system into my vehicle?

As all of our products are made bespoke fit times can vary. We usually request that you leave your car or van with us at the workshop for a minimum of a ½ day.

 

Will this affect my vehicle insurance policy?

We always recommend that customers check and update with their insurance providers if they are having any of our products fitted to their car or van.

 

Is the fitting included in the price which you quote?

Yes all fitting time is included in the prices which we quote.
